White Horse only for the East???!

White Horse has been -for years- the whisky I've bought the most.
I've just been at two near liquor shops (Buenos Aires, "Caballito" neighbourhood) in order to buy a White Horse bottle, and surprisingly they had any!
It used to be a very popular brand round here.
As I was told by these merchants it seems White Horse is not going to be exported to Argentina anymore, because most of the production will be sent (from now on) to the Far East market (China, Japan, etc.)
Can anyone confirm such news?!

I would not be at all surprised if this is correct, it wouldnt be the first tome a whisky company withdraws a whisky from one market to supply another. Perhaps some one here can confirm if it is a fact or not.
