The Pogues Irish Whiskey Launched

West Cork Distillers, one of only three independent whiskey distilleries in Ireland, has launched The Pogues blended Irish whiskey which was inspired by and developed in conjunction with internationally acclaimed Irish folk/rock/punk band The Pogues.



Bottled at 40% ABV, the producers tell me the whiskey has an aroma of malt, cracked nuts, almond and a slight sweetness and its smooth intensity delivers a palate that is malty and floral with a mild chocolate taste and lingering citrus
