Hi William. A very limited edition indeed, only 117 bottles. I bet it's a good one.

I have had a couple of bottles of the Midleton Very Rare in the past and they were very good indeed. I got them after reading good reviews but i believe the quality has varied slightly from year to year with the standard Midleton Very Rare annual releases. I am sure they would have made this 30th Anniversary Pearl Edition a good one, well i would hope so given the price tag.
Is this perhaps the most expensive Irish whiskey released to date |

Keith i have had more than a few Midleton Very Rare bottlings over the years and i would agree they have varied from good to outstanding. I bet they have picked a cracker for this 30th anniversary bottling but i will never know as it is way out of my price range but it is now on my "when i win the lottery list" |
