Tasting notes from whisky expert Blair Bowman:

Nose: An inviting sweet smoke with rich vanilla fudge and warm sooty notes. Opens up into a smoked crème brûlée with a spiced caramelised sugar top.

Sweet citrus peels, caramelised orange and lemon peel, mixed with sweet and spicy nutty notes, honey roasted cashews and almonds with cracked black pepper. Smoked sea salt and smoulder beach bonfire made of salty driftwood come later.

Palate: A warming feel with more vanilla fudge and crème brûlée and spiced caramelised sugar, hints of clove, cinnamon and cardamom. Sweet and delicate heathery smoke lingers and mingles with citrus peels and honey roasted nuts.

S’mores toasted over a smoky beach bonfire made with milk chocolate covered cherry marshmallows and biscoff biscuits. Later, more peppery and smoked sea salt notes.

Finish: Medium finish with sweet and spicy smoke.

Out from Thursday 10 November, £39.99 and 43% I've tried the last two so will be trying this years, whatever distillery we think it's from I'd say the 16, 18 and this will be the same , who knows, anyway that's the news .
