It does sound like a really interesting whisky. Smoky, 46% ABV and under £30 and going by any feedback i have read it definitely sounds worth a try.

Hi Kenny
I havent tried myself yet but as McKay says it does sound interesting.
I received some info on it from Kate at Springbank. In brief it is 46% ABV and contains 6, 10 and 14 year old whisky form bourbon, sherry, port and rum casks.
I have added tasting notes which i also received from Kate to this page:

Cheers William,
I think i will definitely have a bottle now. I wonder what the CV stands for, looking at the tasting notes perhaps it is Creamy Vanilla, lol.

Hi
I have tried this and it is very good. Although not as smoky as some of the descriptions i have read but i suppose those descriptions are someone elses personal opinion. Anyway a very good smoky dram but not a monster smoky dram. I will buy it again and can recommend it.

Hi
I just received this description from Peter Currie at Springbank on how the Longrow CV came about.
Longrow CV:
CV We said " Come on boys, we want a Longrow with the maximum smoke and peat, yet with balance and complexity and maturity"?
Frank McHardy said "B*st@rds! Do I look like Jim McEwan?"?
Stuart Robertson said "Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!"?
6 months later, and after trying various combinations of ages, cask types and cask sizes here is the result. Using Longrow from 6 - 14 years old and casks from 50 litres up to 550 litres, the boys feel that they have discovered the best of the Longrow characteristics. This is sure to become a classic and draw many more connosieurs to the hitherto secret delights of Campbeltown's peated malt.

I am quite new to the big world of whisky and probably havent tasted as many whiskies as most on here but I got a bottle of this last wek and i can say it is pretty good stuff. William, it is interesting to hear how these things come about.
