I noticed this one is now available at the LCBO. Has anyone tried it? It's retailing for $180. Canadian, not cheap. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

Murray that probably isnt too bad a price, we now pay £120 this side of the pond. As far as "is it worth it" personally i would say no from what i have tasted but i believe the quality can vary enormously as it is an annual batch release. I had the Midleton Very Rare 2007 which i wasnt at all impressed with but now looking in Jim Murrays whisky bible, niether was Jim. But according to Jim the Midleton Very Rare 2009, 2005 and 2006 were very good.
If you are looking for a good Irish whiskey i couldnt recommend highly enough Powers Johns Lane 12 year old.
