The UK's premier whisky tasting event is coming back to Glasgow

Where: George Square, Glasgow, Scotland.
When: Friday 8th September 2pm - 8pm / Saturday 9th September 11am - 5pm


Whisky Live Glasgow is Scotland's whisky tasting event of the year, bringing the celebration of whisky to the heart of its production. Held in George Square, in the very centre of Glasgow, Whisky Live brings all the very best Scotch whisky to one event, appealing to both the enthusiast and the novice alike. With expert advice on hand and the opportunity to learn about the whisky basics, Whisky Live Glasgow is intended to provide the ultimate whisky experience. Whisky Live Glasgow has much to offer with the varied tastings available, the whisky experiences, masterclasses, live music and regular nose-off competitions.

Whisky Live Tastings
Whisky Live gives visitors the unique opportunity to sample the greatest Scotch whiskies, whilst mingling with the producers, independent bottlers and brand ambassadors all under one roof. In addition to learning about the world of whisky, visitors have the opportunity to sample rare and sought after whiskies and meet the stars of the industry.

Whisky Experiences
The Whisky Experience areas are the education and entertainment zones, with themed areas providing sensory experiences such as coppering, food demonstrations, cocktails and much, much more. With a dram always on hand the Whisky Experience seeks to educate and entertain the novice or those who just wants to learn a little more about the diversity of Scotland's greatest export.

With live music, on site retailing and food from Scotland, Whisky Live Glasgow looks to bring the world of whisky to you. And why not extend your visit to Whisky Live Glasgow with a visit to the great whisky regions of Scotland, explore the distilleries within easy reach of Glasgow or take a longer trip to the Highlands and islands.

Masterclasses
The Whisky Live Masterclasses are a unique insight into the world of whisky and are tutored by master distillers and other leading whisky experts.

Day Tickets
Friday 8th September 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. OR Saturday 9th September, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Single Day Ticket: £29.50 including 15 sample vouchers, gift bag and full day access.

Afternoon Tickets
Friday 8th September 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. OR Saturday 9th September 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Single Afternoon Ticket: £12.50 including 5 sample vouchers.

Double Day Ticket
£49 including 15 sample vouchers per day, one gift bag per day and full day access from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Masterclass tickets
£12.50 per person
Please ensure you keep your ticket with you at all times during the show.
Further sample voucher booklets are available for purchase on the day from the Whisky Magazine stand at £2.50 for 5 subject to availability.
