If anyone likes Glenfiddich 12 i saw it today in my local Asda for Â£16

Just picked up a bottle of Balvenie Doublewood in Asda for Â£16.21 Top Malt

they also had Caol ila for Â£18

All the good offers seem to have disappeared now at Asda but they do still have the Balvenie Doublewood for just over Â£21 and the Bowmore Legend for just over Â£17 which is not bad for this young Islay malt.

Asda has Highland Park for just over Â£19 and Old Pulteney for just over Â£18.

My local Asda also had a shelf full of the old Ardbeg 10 although not on offer i had to have a couple of bottles as i dont think it will be long until you cant get a hold of the pre glenmo bottles anywhere.

That was lucky Andy, I havent saw any pre glenmo Ardbeg 10 in the shops in my area for a few months now although i do enjoy the new 10 very much.

Asda has the Highland Park 12 year old on offer for just over Â£19 i did not see any other offers worth mentioning. Why didnt i stock up more when the christmas offers were on. Mad

Asda has Glenfiddich 12 year old for Â£17.98, very few good offers around in the big supermarkets at the moment in fact i would say prices have crept up a little.

I have noticed a few of my usual malts are 1 or 2 pound more on average in the supermarkets. I haven't seen many good offers lately either, i just popped in here tonight to check out the Offers & Bargains section as my supplies are needing replenished.

Cheers Andy, i will get myself some Laphroaig i think.

I wasnt too impressed with the Bowmore Legend when i had it, i thought was a bit timid for an Islay malt, why do the big supermarkets not have the Bowmore 12 year old anymore. The Legend is ok for the Â£17 offer price but it isnt worth the normal selling price of Â£24 IMO. Better off with a Â£14 Tesco Islay 10 year old than than the Bowmore Legend.

Asda has Benromach on offer for Â£17.70

Also noticed that my local Asda has a few Duncan Taylor and Gordon & Macphail bottlings on the shelve which i have never noticed before. Not sure if they will be in many other stores.

When i logged into Asda online it now shows me 40 malts available for deleivery from my local store but i know my local store does not have half of these available. Asda has recently updated their website but i think it still needs a bit of work done on it.

Asda have the Talisker 10 year old for Â£21 and something pence cant remember price exactly but a great price for a great whisky.
