Just read this!!

"Specialist retailer The Whisky Exchange is offering a special deal on Diageo Manager's Choice bottlings, with Â£120 off if you buy two bottles.

According to their website: "The Managers Choice series was a unique selection of single cask full strength official bottlings from every single one of Diageo's twenty-seven (at the time) distilleries that appeared in three tranches between late 2009 and early 2010.

Specially selected by a panel of distillery managers and Diageo bigwigs, the general consensus was that most were very good whiskies - as of course they should be with such a distinguished tasting panel - but despite their rarity and one-off nature, a lot of people baulked at the prices, as the vast majority were bottled at less than fifteen years old. "

Having acquired a batch, The Whisky Exchange has now released them at reduced prices ranging from Â£199, for the majority of bottlings available, up to Â£295 for the Sherry Cask Talisker 1994, with the offer of Â£120 off any two."

I noticed this offer at TWE on the Diageo Managers Choice whiskies, i am sure there will be a few cracking whiskies in the range but IMO they were way over priced for many of them. For eample i am sure the Talisker 1994 Managers Choice Sherry Cask is excellent but Â£295 Shocked

i suppose Â£120 off if you buy 2 bottles makes it a bit more affodable.
