For those of you living in NW England, Booths Supermarket have a wide range of offers at the moment.
Aberlour 16 yr - half price at £23 - very nice indeed
£10 off many others including Bowmore, Jura (10yr and superstition), Balvenie Double Wood, Glenlivet 15, Laphroaig 10, Old Pulteney 12, Glenrothes Select, Highland Park 12,
Some real bargains there for Xmas  |

Booths have Old Pulteney 12 yr old on special at the moment at £18.69 a bottle! Dont bother looking in the Windermere branch this evening as the last one was just purchased  |

| Have just bought the last bottle of Pulteney from the Ripon store. I used to go shop at Booths and spend ages in front of the real ale fixture, this time it was Whisky! Was tempted by two other bottles ,Jura Superstition for £20, and Ledaig for £17. Reviews for both are mixed, so held off. |

The Ledaig 10 year old had a bit of a overhaul last year and is now non chilfiltered and bottled at 46.3% and it is now very good compared to the old version , i would highly recommend it if it is the new 46.3% version that is £17 |

Booths do seem to have some excellent bargains! I remember picking up a bottle of 16yo Aberlour in the carnforth store a while back when I was down that way at a very good price.
Pity they don't have Booths up here in Scotland |
