Just a short note for those of you who havent heard the sad news that Michael Jackson the whisky author has died.

Michael has influenced myself and so many other whisky drinkers, his contribution to all of our knowledge, understanding and appreciation of whisky is enormous. He will be sadly missed.

Very sad news indeed. I met Michael at Ardbeg 4 years ago when he signed books for my friends and I during the Open Day. His books gave me and other loads of information about malts and I hope they will be printed for a long time in different languages. Sad
