Seemingly Tesco are clearing out the old glenmorangie stock. They have selling the Glenmorangie port and burgundy finishes for only £13.49 there was none left in my local store but you may be lucky.

I noticed my local Tesco are now selling quite a few 18 year old malts now including Highland Park 18. Unfortunately they are selling the HP18 for £59.99 so it is still cheaper to buy it online including postage costs.

McKay i also noticed my local Tesco was now selling Highland Park 18 and was also disappointed with the £59.99 price tag. It would be nice if they where to take 20% off this price before Christmas like they have with many of there other malts.

Yes, i dont think you will find a better price than that on the Doublewood, I wont be able to get to tesco until tomorrow but hopefully they have not sold out.

Dam, i missed out on the Doublewood at £16.99, just checked the Tesco website and it is back up to £20.
Wish Tesco would put an offer on the Highland Park 18, it is a bit over priced at £60, it is cheaper online and that is including delivery.

I see both Tesco and Asda have the Glenfiddich 12 year old for £16. The other bottlings from Glenfiddich also have good reductions.
Unusual to see such reductions on Glenfiddich, i guess some of the other malt whisky brands are starting to get noticed by the general public and are eating into Glenfiddichs market share forcing them to reduce prices.
Any price reductions are all good for us, whatever the reason.

Depending where you live, most Malts are below £20 in Elgin last week, both in Asda & Tesco.
However I spoke to Robert Fleming of Tomintoul Distillery last week whilst visiting the area and he said that it's very bad that those big supermarkets, who buy drinks on a large scale, drop the prices so much.
Small companies other than the big 3, Diageo, Pernot-Ricard and W.Grants feel the pinch during the Festive Season .

I was in my local Tesco yesterday and most of the offers available over the Christmas period have disappeared but there are still a few good deals to be had most notably the Ardbeg Ten is just over £19 and the offer is set to run untilthe end of January. Also noticed the Old Pulteney on offer about £18 i think.
Rene i can see how smaller companies like Tomintoul struggle to get a fare share of the market at Christmas when the supermarkets slash the prices of the big brands so much.

Ardbeg 10 for £22.99
Glenfiddich Caoran Reserve £21.57
Balvenie Doublewood for £22.99
I picked up a couple of bottles of my trusty favourite Ardbeg 10.

The only decent offer i could see in my local Tesco today was Isle Of Jura Superstition for £20.99 the offer ends on the 6th May.
