Yeah, I'm not expecting anything special. But £13 for a single malt is ok by me. |

Agreed, my budget doesn't run to expensive whisky and probably why I tend to eye bargains too. |

Just read a shocking review of the Glenfairn Highland, 1/10. I will make up my own mind but am a little worried now! Two old adages: “you get what you pay for†& “if a deal seems too good to be true, it probably isâ€. Oh well, let’s see. |

Oh wow. Really bad. Minimal caramel/toffee flavour, followed by nothing. No aftertaste at all. Will not be drinking this. |

Take it back to Tescos and get a refund - I believe all supermarkets offer that sort of guarantee. |

....I'm not entirely sure that you can take something like whisky back, once you've opened it, because you don't like it. If it were faulty (corked or some such) then fair enough, but not likely the dishwater grade single malt that you paid a low price for....
If it makes you feel better, I've pour a lot more expensive stuff down the sink before now

Have a look at the back of the receipt - if you're not satisfied with the product in any way.. no one does it but it's there for anything you get from in the store.

I did wonder what to do with it. Pouring it down the sink just seems wrong, despite how bad it is! Definitely a lesson learnt! |

I saw it in Luton Tesco last week for £10.60. I still left it on the shelf. |

It’s really not good. I’d rather have a cup of tea. |
