Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard has launched two new rare, single cask, single pot still whiskeys from the Midleton Distillery, makers of the Irish whiskey, Jameson.
Both new expressions have been released under the celebrated Midleton brand, renowned for its annual vintage release of the Midleton Very Rare blend. Created exclusively for two specific customers - the new Irish Whiskey Collection shop at the recently opened Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport, and The Celtic Whiskey Shop on Dublin's Dawson Street.

By my calculations it is £220 for the Midleton Terminal 2 and £190 for the Midleton Celtic Whiskey Shop. I would think these would be good investments as it is very rare for Midleton to release single pot still whiskey not only that but from a single cask. Normally the only Midleton you see is Midleton Very Rare which is a blended Irish whiskey. I wouldnt mind getting hold of a bottle of Midleton Terminal 2.
Anyone know where you fly from to pass through the new Irish Whiskey Collection shop at the recently opened Terminal 2 at Dublin airport. |
