Dare I say it...

M&S Speyside Single Malt 12 year old.

It costs £30 but I absolutely loved the 5cl sample I was bought in a gift set.

If you enjoyed something you should never have to justify buying it!

I received three nice bottles for my birthday yesterday, Laphroig QC, Ardbeg 10 and Kilchoman Machir Bay. I guess they know I like Islay!

Not brought anything for a while as trying to save for a holiday so managed to get a couple of cheap bargains to try.
A couple of bottles of Heaven Hill corn whisky 9 year old, and a couple of bottles of BenRiach 9 year old, batch 4, both from That Boutique-y Whisky Company.
Got the BenRiach for £18 a bottle and the Heaven Hill for £20!!! Very Happy Very Happy

Hello all, for my first post I’ll share my latest additions:

- Ardbeg Wee Beastie
- Laphroaig Quarter Cask
- Clear Creek McCarthys Oregon Single Malt
- The Lost Distillery "Lossit" Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

I’m fairly new to scotch, about a year since I started enjoying it, being Tamdhu Batch Strength no 3 being my first bottle, and then I quickly turned into a Peat Head as you can see from my selection above. Hoping to continue learning more through this forum. Slàinte Top Malt

From various offers over the last month or so:

Glenrothes Whisky Maker's Cut
Blair Athol 2007/2019 Cask Strength by Berry Bros & Rudd
Glen Scotia 15
Glen Garioch 1997/2012 Cask Strength
Ledaig 13 TWE exclusive

(OK, the last one was the opposite of an offer but it should be a great one!)

Not yet, unfortunately. I’m trying to kill a few bottles that are low before opening either the Wee Beastie or the Clear Creek. I’ll definitely post on the what are you dramming now thread when I open one of them.

Hope you enjoy the Deanston, I’ve been looking into buying any of their offering for some time, still haven’t pulled the trigger on any of them.

SMWS 144.1 (High Coast). And soon to receive SMWS 145.1 (Smogen). Never tasted an expression from either distillery, so should be intriguing.

Yeah it was very good. I decided to let my neighbours at it and it went down very well. Have about an inch left in the bottle but as they say, whisky is for sharing. The 12 year old is always a good starting point. Nice whisky.
