Couldn’t resist a bottle of Kilkerran 12 when I picked up my Springbank 10. Such great value these 2.

Ardbeg An Oa & North Star Spirits Orkney 12yo Periodical single malt whisky. It’s a mystery malt whisky from North Star Spirits. It’s the first one in their Periodical collection, which sees it bottling up some incredibly special odds and ends of casks and batches that it has resting in its archives. A total of 424 bottles were released for this expression. It’s thought to be Highland Park & is bottled at 50% ABV. It doesn’t say natural colour & unchillfiltered but as far as I am concerned, all of their whisky is unchillfiltered & natural colour. It’s in an apothecary style 50 CL bottle which is different. It was only £37.95. So I had to try it.

I just picked up after pre-ordering it, a bottle of Dewar's 27 Year "Double Double Aged" in a 4 step process (yes the extra "double" was included on the label), 46% ABV, NCF and natural color, an integrity blended Scotch whisky.
