I probably have close to 400 now. They are not all rare and collectable bottles, i do intend to drink them one day but would be tempted to sell some if they suddenly became valuable. Many bottles i have picked up when they have been on sale, for instance i like ardbeg 10 so i picked up 30 bottles of it when asda was selling it off for £20 a while ago. In fact one cupboard is pretty much filled with my bulk buying bargains.

After being reminded of this thread i think i will do another cask end as i have time on my hands being unemployed.

So last chance to vote, but the winner looks like Ardbeg!
Think i still have 5 / 6 ends in the shed so will prob do more after the ardbeg!

I would say go for the Ardbeg and if you are feeling artistic then the big A Ardbeg logo would look good.

Here is a bigger version here which may do to make a template http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs21/f/2007/233/6/7/Ardbeg_by_typ0.jpg

Hello JAB, Very interested in your refurbishment of cask Heads, I have a copper Stencil Plate from Mortlach Distillery which was in use before they started the modern method of barcode labels for cask traceability. I was wondering if these old stencils have any value
