The Talisker 18 and Highland Park 18 are both excellent drams but my vote went to the Talisker as you can usually find it a little bit cheaper than the HP12.

HP got my vote just a classic whisky to enjoy sitting by the fireside.

HP 18 is superb and my choice out of these, i do like the Talisker 18 but it can vary sometimes, not always consistent.

For me the Highland Park 18 year old is my choice but the Talisker is also a very good dram.

The Highland Park 18 and Talisker 18 are both very good quality whiskies. I would say i prefer one or the other they are both different and i highly rate both of them.

I must admit i do enjoy all the whiskies listed but really enjoy the Highland Park 18, i also really like the Talisker 18 but it is a little difficult to find these days in most shops, i have the feeling they are either running short of it.

The Highland Park and the Talisker are both very very good drams. Both a class above the others listed IMO.

I'm actually quite shocked at the (relatively speaking) low rating the Caol Ila 18 is getting. To me, it's one of the finest out there. Mind you, they are all good drops in their own unique ways - however the best 18 yr old of all is missing from the list.

Hi Andrew

I agree they are all good in there own way. I would be interested to know what you think is missing from the list.
