Family owned Glenfarclas have added a new 40 Years Old whisky to their portfolio. It will be officially launched during the Spirit of Speyside festival.

As you can see it has similar packaging to the 10 year old. Bottled at 46% with an RRP of £350 Glenfarclas say that this 40 year old is priced to be opened.

I love the 30 year old if i am spoiling myself, but this just may be a bit out of my normal price range but still a good price for a whisky of this age. I would be interested to hear from anyone who trys it.
