I have only used www.scotchwhiskyauctions.com to sell a few bottles and I was happy.

As webdunk says they offer collection around the country so it may be worth talking to them.

Yes it is the strength of the alcohol, it doesnt affect modern corks so much but it will still eventually break up the cork if on its side for long enough.

I believe Glen Flagler Pure Malt is a blended malt but dont know anything specific about Mason & Summers other than they were based in Glasgow

If you have never liked any whisky you.have tasted I doubt you would like Lagavulin, it is quite an acquired taste, it is a very peaty whisky.
