Whisky Focus - Dalmore Constellation Collection Whisky Dinner

Tickets have gone on sale for an exclusive whisky dinner being held at Aberdeen’s five-star destination, The Marcliffe Hotel and Spa. The event takes place on 4th July, celebrating The Marcliffe becoming the first place in Scotland to sell a selection of bottles from The Dalmore Constellation Collection by the glass.

The Dalmore Constellation Collection consists of 21 individual vintage expressions, which spent their lives finessing in the finest casks from around the world before being bottled at natural cask strength and at natural colour. Until now, the exclusive collection has only been available to buy by the bottle, with prices starting from £2,000 for a bottle of 1992 Vintage up to £20,000 for a bottle of the Vintage 1962. The Marcliffe is now the first hotel in Scotland where individual drams can be bought and savoured.

To commemorate the Constellation Collection’s arrival at The Marcliffe, The Dalmore’s Master Distiller, Richard Paterson is hosting a very special dinner and whisky tasting.

Guests will enjoy a sumptuous five course dinner at the luxurious hotel, and have the chance to savour a taste of some of The Dalmore’s finest whiskies, including four malts from The Dalmore Constellation Collection. The evening will conclude with a dram of The Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve, enjoyed on the terrace accompanied by cigars.
