Whisky Focus - Ardbeg Day Islay-limpics 2012

Forget the London Olympics 2012 now is the time for all Ardbeggians to get into training for the Ardbeg Islay-limpics 2012.

The 2nd June 2012 sees the very first Ardbeg Day and Ardbeg are inviting Ardbeggians from near and far – in fact, wherever you are – to celebrate with them.

At the Distillery they’ll be staging their very own Islay-limpics. But if you can’t make it over to the Distillery, help is at hand.

Throughout the world, Ardbeg fans will be hosting momentous parties and Islay-limpic events. And Ardbeg Embassies will be ensuring Ardbeg Day is a corker by uncorking bottles of Ardbeg Day whisky – our special commemorative bottling.

So put the date in your diary and get in training. To get started, why not try the glass-lifting event?

• Step 1: select a glass.
   
• Step 2: open bottle of Ardbeg.
   
• Step 3: pour.
   
• Step 4: lift glass to lips and sip.
   
• Step 5: repeat step 4.
   

Keep an eye on the Ardbeg website as they will be bringing you updates and mini training events to help you improve your stamina before the big day.

And if you can’t make it along to the Distillery or an Embassy, you’ll be able to see all the fun and games on the Ardbeg website on 2nd June 2012.
