The Ultimate Tasting Experience
The Whisky Show is a new luxury whisky
event that aims to showcase the finest
examples of the distiller’s art to city
professionals and fine whisky consumers
alike. The inaugural Whisky Show will
take place in London’s prestigious
Guildhall on 6th-7th November 2009.
Focusing on premium bottlings above each
brand’s standard expression (longer-aged
whisky and/or special bottlings), The
Whisky Show will offer a fantastic
opportunity to the knowledgeable
connoisseur and potential investor, as
well as the passionate whisky fan
wanting to learn more.

The Whisky Show has the objective of
developing an understanding and
appreciation of this complex spirit -
particularly for the enthusiastic
amateur. Exhibitors fully understand
that many visitors to the show are not
aficionados and will present their
brands accordingly.
As well as the best whiskies, The Whisky
Show will also be about relaxation, fun
and enjoyment, with luxury whisky-themed
food and a separate Whisky Lounge
featuring up-and-coming Scottish
musician Roddy Hart. The aim of the Show
is to create a superb atmosphere – a
world away from the stressed, workaday
nature of many other whisky festivals.
Visitors to The Whisky Show will also be
able to experiment with a range of
delicious food-pairing suggestions, with
stands serving a selection of nibbles
including chocolate, haggis, several
cheeses and a variety of smoked meats
and fish.
