Description: This is the new and highly rated Longrow CV. It has No Age Statement but contains 6, 10 and 14 year old whisky from bourbon, sherry, port and rum casks. Subtle it is not, but if you are a fan of peaty, citrussy young drams you will not be disappointed.
Tasting Notes: The colour is light amber. On the nose it is very creamy, vanilla custard. The smoke develops gradually, like a slow burning log fire, never over powering but always reassuring. In the mouth it is incredibly well balanced - rich and creamy with a slight medicinal hint. The smoke is always present, washing over the palate in waves, like the soft billows of smoke from the kiln. The finish is long, the gentle smoke lingers and lingers leaving you yearning for more.
