Description: Benrinnes single malt whisky bottlings are is still relatively rare, they only became available in official bottlings in this Flora and Fauna Malt series. It is the the only Speyside malt to be triple distilled like a Lowland or Irish whisky, The triple distillation produces a silky and very pure Scotch Malt whisky with exotic fruit, honey and biscuits notes. Impressive stuff.
Tasting Notes: Gold in colour. On the nose there is sugared hints of citrus fruits tangerine and lemon. Sherryish. The taste is very smooth, juicy marmalade, red fruits cherry and strawberry. The finish is long and lingering. Sweet, fruity, prunes, cherry plum, dark chocolate and cedar.
