Description: A little less peaty than early bottlings, this is a great whisky, but is sadly becoming very hard to find as the demand for it increases and supply runs low due to the fact the distillery was closed between 1981 and 1997. The first bottling of this sparked the revival of Ardbeg's fortunes after the takeover by Glenmorangie. I expect the price on the remaining bottles of this 17 year old Ardbeg whisky is going to increase as stocks run low.
