It is matured for a minimum of 15 years in a combination of sherry and bourbon oak casks then finished in new oloroso sherry casks to develop its generous and rewarding flavours. It is an elegant single malt of enormous charm.
Tasting Notes: The colour is golden amber. The nose is a confection of marzipan and the alluring fragrance of geraniums, with hints of sherry and orange blossom, and a light smokiness. The taste is soft and spicy with a lightly toasted oaky flavour, overlaid with a sherry-sweet nuttiness mixed with ripe apricots and toffee that shamelessly seduces the palate. The finish is gentle and mellow, with a distinct spiciness and subtle hints of mint.
