Description: Often know simply as Grouse this very popular blend has always had consistently high standards.
Tasting Notes: Light to medium-bodied with a hint of sherry on the finish.
Method of Production: Famous grouse is relatively light in malts but the skillful blending more than compensates for that. Grouse has a good percentage of Highland Park, the malt from the Isle of Orkney, that gives a lovely roundness. The blend is made at original cask strength before being watered down and then given a chance for the components to marry.
