Tasting Notes: Hints of frosted sweets on the palate and a delicious finish of fresh mown grass and sweet, smoky oak.
Method of Production: The softest of the Lowland malts due to the large size of its two copper pot stills and the purity of its water which comes off the chaklky Lammermuir Hills. Ground malted barley was soaked in warm water to make wort that fermented producing a wash that was distilled twice to give the spirit. The spirit is aged for 10 years in old Bourbon casks, giving the whisky weight and smoothness.
