Glenfarclas gets my vote. I agree the Aberlour 10 year old should have been in this poll as it does have a lot of fans.

The Ardbeg 10 gets my vote, for me it is simply the best Islay single malt for your money. |

I voted for the Ardbeg 10 but could have also voted for the Laphroaig 10, Springbank 10 or the Talisker 10. They are all good whiskies.

The answer is Ardbeg 10.
Did i get the question right?
Seriously the Ardbeg 10 is one of my favourites out of any whisky and definitely my number one in this poll.

They are all good. I always find it hard to say one whisky is better than another they are just different. I wouldnt say no to any of them in this poll they are all quality drams.

10 year old malts offer excellent value for money, but which one is the best. |
Hi William,
You are asking this to the wrong person . . . . . . .
The 10yo I like the most is rightly named " STORM FORCE 10 " , the one and only and my staple drink "Ardbeg".
Where ever I go in the world you will find in my suitcase a hip fask of 10yo A after all you never know what they may serve you oversees ! !

PS: Ardbeg Ten Years Old has been awarded the ultimate accolade, as World Whisky of the Year. Internationally acclaimed whisky expert, Jim Murray, author of The Whisky Bible has furthered the honour by making this the first single malt Scotch winner ever. Ardbeg 10 Years Old is also accorded Scotch Single Malt of the Year at the same time. _________________ Ardbeg 4 ever |

It has got to be the excellent Ardbeg 10 for me and as Rene mentioned it is now the best whisky in the world. I would say it is the best whisky in the world in its price range.

I wouldn't necessarily say anyone of these 10 year old malts is much better than the other, just different. To me it would depend on the occasion which one I choose. Having said that, I probably drink more of the Talisker and Ardbeg 10 than I would the others listed.

Ardbeg and Talisker are my first 2 choices of 10 year olds here but i can be partial to a sherried malt such as Glenfaclas or Aberlour. To be honest i enjoy all the malts listed just depends on my modd and the occasion which one i would prefer.

This is a poll of 10 year olds? So the Ardbeg 17 wouldnt be in it.
Anyway the Ardbeg 10 got my vote, superb dram.

These are all excellent drams but the Ardbeg Ten is a step above them all.
