First, i couldnt find a good place to post this so it ended up in single malt.

I just bought a new house, with a nice big room in the basement where im going to create a hideaway from the world to enjoy the good things in life... whisky, dart, ciggars and all in good company.

I got a few ideas how to do this but i bet a few of you in here already have a place like this, and maybe you are willing to share youre experience?

Or you are dreaming of a room whisky room and have great ideas to share!

thanks in advance
Daniel

Sounds very nice Soderd and an excellent plan for a basement.

I dont have said whisky lair, so to speak, more a cluttered room with it all in.

I am a traditionalist at heart so my dream place would be a bit like a mini gentlemans club style thing full of vintage whisky paraphanalia.

I think I would have to have all of my bottles out on display also, whereas now they are all tucked away in tubes in a cupboard!

Have fun and let us know how you get on.

Cheers..

I’m lucky to have my own space.. Decor is simple and white walls, shelving all round the room and old style leather chairs, dull lighting .. it’s kind of a mix between old style and almost modern 😂😂

Should be nice.

Can see what you want to achieve and why you chose this piece.

I work in the woods so love things made from trees. Nice project, along with the rest of your cave..

I've built a walk in wardrobe in my house to store it all in one of my spare rooms.

Nice. Do you have it all out on display? Unboxed?

Yeah, nice to see the way you have displayed the bottles. Always seems a shame to have them hidden away in their boxes, as mine are.
