Looking for Double Single, Spice Tree from 2005-6 or Optimism (Though I'm not all that optimistic about locating one!).
Will pay cash or trade cigars
Thanks |

I think you would be real lucky to find a Compass Box Spice Tree from 2005-6 anywhere but i do know Compass Box have just released a new presentation of the Spice Tree. I know The Whisky Exchange shop has the new Spice Tree available now, i think they only just got it last week.

Thanks Kieth but the new presentation is at best a shadow of the original. A good enough drink to be sure but not exceptional imho.
I have higher hopes for Lady Luck. Hope to have some next week. |

Just saw your post one sock, as Keith said you would be really lucky to find an original Spice Tree. I just looked up the Lady Luck you mentioned as it is the first i have heard of it, it does sound interesting. I wouldnt mind hearing your thoughts on it if you do get a bottle.

My spreadsheet tells me that at home I've got 1 bottle of Compass Box 1st edition Spice Tree "one of 4150 bottles, in original carton", also 1 bottle of the 2nd edition (the one the SWA banned).
I don't want money, but might do a swap for something interesting I have not got -Springbank for preference...
But I'm told that there are big problems sending whisky from Scotland to the USA - is it even legal?

The likes of The Whisky Exchange post to the USA without ant problems, so i dont see why you would have a problem.
