Appreciate not everyone does Christmas but if you do got anything nice to open?

Seen a few people mention things they have tucked away.

For me, got my wife to get me an Octomore 07.1, so the question is... is this the dram with the morning porridge on the day?

Think the Glendronanch re revival will have to play a part too.

I shall be opening and sharing a Balvenie 21 Port Wood.

I've also got a sample of Glenfarclas 40 which I will have. Not sharing that though!!

Not decided yet, but it's usually a good excuse to crack something that I've been 'saving for an occasion' Smile

That reminds me I have a bottle of batch 53 as yet uncracked! That'll do nicely.

Bunnahabhain 18 and a so far unsourced caperdonich. Something peaty too. A young caol Ila I think. Open to suggestions though! I’ll be having a lidl and aldi offering too.

Every year, for more years than I can remember, I've bought either a vintage port or well-aged tawny port for Christmas Day. Never opened one yet lol. This year will be different.

I have one last bottle of Balvenie 10yr Founders Reserve, my sister and brother in law are coming up for Christmas, he loves whisky and has never tasted this lovely dram, so Christmas Day seems the perfect time to share this stunning malt.

Glendronach 15 and 18 will be my sherried drams on Christmas night. Also considering ordering a bottle of Bunnahabhain 25 and Redbreast 21 as something special to drink over the holidays.

A Glenfarclas comparison of the 15 & 25 year old on Xmas day, providing of course Santa has the list I emailed to my wife today Laughing

Will end the night with a Islay, probably Ardbeg 10 or Laph Lore.

I picked up a bottle of TWE Xmas special glenfarclas 17 cask strength. Opened it in preparation. It’s over bitter and tastes solventy which is a shame as this was an outsider on the list.
