Anyone on here going this year?
I've yet to decide, but thinking Thursday as can tie it in with work this year.

How much has the Glenfiddich festival bottling been priced at in previous years?
Left it late so likely decide on the day what to do, as loads of sold events.. ill be happy to buy a festival edition bottle, if that's all I can do.

Just wish i can get a bed for the Thursday night, but doubt its all fully booked in the area, as would have made a good day of it.

I haven't been for a few years now but you really do have to book in advance especially accommodation. Enjoy if you do pop along.

Reserved a hotel room, lucky to find 1 only 1 week before the festival. Spoke to some distilleries and the comment is that it's crazy busy,, so should be great atmosphere.. this is my first 'festival' - already have 3 festival bottlings in mind.. nom nom.

Hi, we are going up for 3 nights, but doing the bottle run on the Thursday but our events start on Friday morning.

We booked our accommodation for this year when we checked out last year, mainly because 6 are in Craigellachie and 4 are in Aberlour.

GlenAllachie are doing a festival bottle, 50cl £56, Billy Walker is doing a free event but tickets must be booked for this, Thursday/Friday.

I'm sure the Glenfiddich bottle was £125 last year and it was peated, Glenfarclas is £120 this year.

Glendronach have a great managers bottle at the moment, £250 though.

Enjoy the festival
Cheers

Just read about Glenfarclas festival bottle, aim to buy one of these on Friday.

Im going to buy GlenAllachie 12 year old festival bottle, yet to decide my time slot on Thursday. GlenAllachie core expressions (12, 18 etc) will be available for sampling before its official release.

Think i'll buy Glenfiddich festival bottle

Looking to buy Murray McDavid festival bottle, Allt A Bhainne 9 year old, 62%ABV, PX Sherry cask, £55.

Was going to pop into Dalwhinnie on my journey home to pick up Lizzies Dram, ltd edition only available at distillery shop.

Staying at Craigellachie Hotel on Thursday, taking a bus to Dufftown on Thursday, likely taxi back. Friday (driving) will try catch some festival bits before journey home.

Treating myself to The Balvenie Malt Master Tour and Dinner.
Joining The Balvenie Malt Master, David C Stewart MBE on a visit to The Balvenie Distillery, followed by dinner.

The Balvenie visit includes: The Balvenie Farm, maltings, distillery, cooperage, warehouse 24 (including a 20cl self-fill bottle from a cask of 35 year old Balvenie), nosing & tasting of a number of Balvenies from our range -  planned to include a good range of Balvenie expressions during the event, for example: Balvenie 40 year old, Balvenie 30 year old, Tun 1509 Batch 5 (not officially bottled yet, so first to taste it outside of the Company), and core range of Balvenies.

6 hours worth of a jaw dropping experience. Tasty!
Cracking highlight to my festival.
