Dewar's have unveiled a new Dewar's 25 Year Old expression which will replace the outstanding Dewar's Signature no age statement blended whisky which sat at the top of the Dewar's core whisky range

Just got around to buying a bottle of this. Been on my wishlist since it was released.

I had been eyeing this up also, I will probably take the plunge and get a bottle at some point as I do enjoy the older blends.

I had a bottle of the signature and really liked it, does anyone know if the 25 year is actually better quality, there was some pretty old whisky in the mix of the signature?

I thought the 25 had been around for a while and the signature was separate.

I recently picked up a bottle of the 18 year Old in Hong Kong and was massively impressed so I might try this at some point.

It's always hard to mentally justify blends though for some reason - they're still kinda in a lower class in my mind for some reason.

My bottle of 25 is evaporating, its really good, you get character and quality and pay for the expertise of the master blender. It's a quality smooth dram.

The 25 was released a couple of years ago and replaced the signature,
