This one matured in a sherry hogshead.
Murray's Taste Notes:
Color: Gold
Nose: Bulrushes meet maple syrup, coconut, nutmeg and demarara sugar mixed with cinnamon, honey-smoked salmon and California raisins. Black cherries late.
Taste: Medium to full-bodied. Very smooth and creamy, vanilla ice cream sundae, spiked black cherries with a spicy undertow.
Finish: Lingering, Boston cream pie, spice on the caboose with mellow kiwi.
Comments: A unique style of Arran with almost Caribbean charm.
Score: 89 _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
