There used to be a few established distilleries where you could buy casks of whisky in the past such as Bruichladdich, Isle of Arran, Tullibardine and Glengoyne but I think only Arran offers casks now but it may be worth contacting all of them.
You mainly find that it is the newly established distilleries offering casks for sale now, to support themselves while their stock matures. Here are some links that may be of interest, most are for recently established distilleries

I have a cask with strathearn and am currently considering buying one from Annandale as their peated juice is awesome. Pretty straight forwards buy now and wait for a few years. Guaranteed buy back option is always less risky but then you often forfeit the right to keep the cask if you wanted - and thus losing a potential fortune! All depends what you want the cask for - for me it was to support start up businesses.
