Our roving reporter Murray Cohen, aka Quaich1 has been out and about once again and has kindly submitted a review of "The Feather's Pub" Toronto Canada which boasts a collection of 500 whiskies and some good pub grub.

You can read Murrays review of The Feather's Pub as well as his review of the whiskies he had the pleasure of while visiting the pub, see here:

Sounds like a great whisky pub. I have had a few bottles of the Glenmorangie 10 year old 100 Proof in the past, shame they discontinued it.

Murray, it looks like you had a good day at The Feathers and a very nice line up of whiskies. Out of interest what did they charge for your flight of 5 whiskies.

$45.00 Canadian= 5 X 1/2 oz.

That is very good considering the line up of drams included a Brora and a Lochside, sounds like a great pub

Yes Andy, I thought it was more than reasonable.

That is excellent prices for 5 whiskies especially as 4 out of 5 of them you cant buy now.

Great reviews Murray of some whiskies we rarely see reviewed but sell for premium prices. I had a Douglas Laing Brora a few years back, cant recall the details at the moment as I have been drinking tonight Very Happy but it was very good and and quite a saving on what Diageo try's to ask for a Brora bottling.
