A new Canadian Whisky Release-Alberta Dark Batch Rye, 45%abv

Alberta Rye Whisky Dark Batch is 91% rye, 8% bourbon and 1% sherry, aged in a mix of new charred oak and repurposed American bourbon barrels. According to reports, "one percent doesn't sound like a lot, but the sherry in this plays well above its weight class in terms of contributing flavor to the final mix" (Forbes).
