It looks like the Glengoyne whisky range will be on offer today on Amazon but they haven't revealed the details yet but you will find them here when they go live:

Not interested in the 10 (especially since I got the much better 12 for about the same price), but has anyone tried the Chapter One? Any opinions on that? I'm always reluctant to buy NAS with pretentious names but I could be persuaded!

Alexppp, I actually had a dram of the Glengoyne Legacy Series Chapter One one evening last week in a cold Glengoyne warehouse, which wasn’t the ideal place and I had to rush it down as my transport home was leaving, not the ideal conditions to taste it and then give it a thumbs up or down, I do like to take my time with a whisky before influencing others to part with their money. It isn’t a big sherried dram at all; I would think the biggest contribution to the whisky comes from refill casks which are likely around 10ish years old, there is some first fill sherry in it but not a great deal I would think. A slightly different Glengoyne, it does have a fruitiness although not a big sherried one, it is inoffensive and easy to drink and its bottling strength is a plus which adds to the pleasure. What I would say is I wasn’t impressed enough to want a bottle for its £54.99 price tag, for those who like the bigger sherried side of Glengoyne it may not be for them, but it is certainly worth Amazons offer price of £39.99

I will add I tasted the Chapter One straight after a few drams of the big sherried Teapot Dram (which was outstanding), so Chapter One may be quite different when tasted with a fresh palate.

Thanks William - yes, the Teapot Dram is such a big whisky that it's bound to influence what comes after. As it happens I'm not too hung-up on my Glengoynes being sherried - one of my favourites was a refill 12 year old bourbon cask that I bottled at the distillery, so as long as the Legacy doesn't have overly young or harsh notes it may be right up my street.

I would love to taste the Royal Salute Stone of Destiny 38 Year Old they have on offer, if they dropped it to half price I may have been tempted but still a good saving.

I grabbed some Highland Park Viking Tribe and some Chivas Regal 18

So did anyone else catch the Glengoyne 21 in time or was it all gone in the early hours?
