Linkwood - Burghead Maltings 25th anniversary Bottling

Hi,
I have a bottle of this malt for sale it is 43% volume.
I have contact The Whisky Exchange and they will buy it at £250 but as they are selling fo them for £699, i thought that i would offer the bottle on here for collectors instead.
I know they have sold at Mctears for up to £500 but am not really expecting that amount.
bottle is in perfect condition, and i can send photos if you would like.
£400 just seems like to much profit for whisky exchange !

Hi Helen

I would have guessed that there would be a big difference in what The Whisky Exchange would offer you and what they would sell it for, but i wouldnt have guessed a £400 difference.

You mentioned Mctears, why dont you try them, remember there will be auction fees i am guessing about 20% maybe but dont quote me on that figure.

Another option is Ebay, it may be worth a try as you do see a lot of collectable whisky selling there.

Unfortunately it is out of my price range or i would make you an offer.

thanks for that bill, i think I will e bay the bottle but will put a reserve on it
