There has always been a lack of aged Irish whiskey and also single pot still Irish whiskey but it looks like Irish Distillers are workinfg to change that.
Fans of single pot still Irish whiskey will be pleased to hear that Irish Distillers has announced a new addition to the Redbreast single pot still Irish whiskey range with the launch of Redbreast 21 Year Old, the pinnacle of the range to date. I have to say I am quite excited about this one myself, it is about time we seen some more older Irish whiskeys available and what better than a Redbreast single pot still whiskey.
I tried the new Redbreast 21 last night, a deliciously juicy mature Irish single pot still whiskey. Brilliant from nose to finish. Geat balance of fruit, spice and oak, a must try for fans of Irish single pot still whiskey.
