Thanks for your response, I tried to list the excelsior on ebay but they have a new rule prohibiting the sell of alcohol on their site. Any other ideas? Also does anyone know about how much this bottle is worth? |

johnny, that's one fine bottle! Johnnie Walker Excelsior. I've seen it listed as high as 950 pounds, that's $1500. Canadian.
This bottling is a limited release and very rare. Blended and bottled by John Walker & Sons, at Kilmarnock. Excelsior was distilled in 1947. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

We have a number of auctions here in the UK that sell rare and collectable whisky but i think there are a lack of options your side of the water. Ebay recently clamped down on the sale of alcohol as some as apparently kids were using it to purchase alcohol.
I think if you list your bottle on ebay correctly you may get away with it. Cleary state it is a rare and collectable bottle you are selling and if you have a high enough starting price then they may not remove your auction. |

That's a real good suggestion Mac. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."
