Just purchased the last two bottles of Tasgall 25yo from my local ASDA, at £20 each an absolute bargain! |

Although I have a cold tried a little dram of each. The 25 immediately appealed more as there was a sherried influence which I failed to get from the 30 which was more astringent and bitter full of pear drops. I'll come back to it when I feel better. |

I have tried a couple of Asda stores for the Tasgall but no luck. |

May be worth trying again? Got one of each today.
Called in at my local ASDA and there were none on the shelves last night. In today by coincidence and had a quick check and there was some stock there!
Good luck.
If you're reading this in the Inverness area as of 30 minutes ago there were 2 of each in stock. |

My ASDA order arrived today, only to be informed that both bottles were out of stock, so they substituted the 30yo with a bottle of Monkey Shoulder and the 25yo with a bottle of Glen Moray Classic...
Needless to say these are not what I had ordered and paid for and certainly not acceptable substitutes. I also called at my local ASDA on the off chance but they didn't have any.
Not a great day |

What?! Sounds like whoever was picking the order just grabbed whatever was on the shelf. Another whisky philistine |

I know, I don't understand it, when I checked their website earlier they were still selling both bottles too!! They sent a refund email, but it wasn't for the full cost, so not sure what's going on there either, very disappointed with ASDA right now |

Thanks for the tip-off.
My wife was in Caerphilly, I re-directed her to Asdas* and she got me a 25yo for £20.
Very handy, as no Asdas in Aberystwyth.
I'll be having a nice try of that at the weekend, as there were still 7 bottles left and she's down there again on Tuesday ...
* All chains of shops are pluralised in South Wales. Marksies, Nexties, Tescos, etc. |

Glad you managed to get a bottle, hope you enjoy it. Must be that availability differs depending upon your region, will check my local ASDA again at the weekend but not holding out much hope. |

It's certainly worth tracking down - it's very good.
I put it in a big brandy glass, and it was smooth as anything with lots of fruit and some spices.
Website says still on offer.
Suit you. |

Parkhead Forge Asda in Glasgow still had 5 bottles of the 25 year old on Friday, but the 30 was not to be seen. _________________ The Drawing Room // Crimson Glow Photography |

You must be near to me then. I was in on Sunday night, and swooped up Bowmore 9 YO. £15 a bottle. A cracking whisky, and an unbelievable price. |

I was back for the Bowmore as well, couldn't resist in the end! I'm in Dennistoun, so Asda's not too far. _________________ The Drawing Room // Crimson Glow Photography |
