I voted for Aberlour A'Bunadh, giving some weighting to value for money, over the Ardbeg Uigeadail. Sad to see Longrow CV doesn't have any votes yet, this is a great value whisky too.

For me at present moment is a few ...Talisker 57 Degrees North and Aberlour A'bunadh.
But again there is a difference in batches so it must be considered as well. For example..I've tried Talisker 10yo for the first time in 2008 and the last one in 2012 which I've bought it in 2010 and I can tell there is a huge difference..2008 seems to be much smokier and salty on the palate,and the nose smokier as well,but the last one was completely different more kind a fruity and not much smoky at all.I was really disappointed with the last one.

For me it all really depends on my mood which NAS whisky i reach for but there is no doubt that there are some amazing NAS whiskies available of which my favourites would be Aberlour A'bunadh, Ardbeg Corryvreckan, Ardbeg Uigeadail and Talisker 57 Degrees North.

Although for everyday dramming the Talisker 57 Degrees North priced around Â£60 is getting a bit silly these days, nice whisky but still young and i don't think the price tag is justified so not one i buy very often nowadays, the Talisker 10 year old from the supermarket satisfies me perfectly well for around Â£25 when i am in the mood for Talisker.

I had to choose the threewood, it's one of the whiskys I drink most,
It's very consistent, I do like the aberlour but there can be a few tainted batches , I don't drink the peated stuff so none of them could be considered ...
Another one worth mentioning though is the Auchentoshan valinch, a yearly batch release so no more limited than some others...

There is probably a whole load more no age staement whiskies which could be added to the choices since this thread started.

I agree to a point I'm not at all impressed with the Mac gold to be honest. Not as good as the bottles it was replacing. The more expensive stuff is much better though.

I would add Glendronach cask strength. Only tried batch 1 which is most excellent.
