I was given a bottle of the Glen Marnoch 18 year old at Christmas and it took me a while to find out were it had come from as i didnt like to ask. Anyway it is bottled for Aldi as you probably already know. The bottle stated it was a limited edition so it wont be around in Aldi for ever. It was a very pleasant Highland malt, full bodied, sweet, honeyed, fruity (hint of oranges), light oak. Pleasant medium length fruity vanilla finish.
My bottle is well gone now and i would recommend it, well worth £18.99 i think i will pick myself up another bottle at this price, cheers for letting us know whiskystu. |

The Glen Marnoch certainly sounds like it is worth a try at this price. |

Went into Aldi today and bought Glen Marnoch 18 yr old,a bargain at just under £20, to complement the recently bought 12 yr old Glen Marnoch.
The 12 yr old is a lovely smooth whisky and so i expect the 18yr old to be even better. Will advise after tasting
By the way I am not a *isshead, i just like the taste of malt whisky

I had the Glen Marnoch 18 from Aldi last year and it was a decent dram for £20 IMO, enjoy. |

I got an Aldi flyer through the door today, it has Glen Marnoch 24 year old for £29.99
I had the 18 year old last year and it was excellent for the price so i think i will give the Glen Marnoch 24 year old a try if i can get a hold of a bottle |

i had the Glen Marnoch 18 and it was very drinkable, you would assume that the 24 will be a similar taste/style of whisky and it is some price for a whisky of this age.
I suppose always the danger that the wood has taken over after 24 years in a barrel and it will be like chewing oak. |

Asked in my local Aldi (Nuneaton) yesterday about 24yr old Glen Marnoch and staff knew nothing about it so perhaps offer is only in certain localities |
