|
Hi guys i am asking this on here on behalf of my parents, they was asking me if i could find out where online i could sell whisky or find the collectors etc so i came across this site, they have at home two items they may wish to sell,i need to know where is the best places to sell these,or who best to contact and ask there worth i have had a quick look around online and have a rough idea but thought why not ask on here too.
I was gonna list on ebay but maybe its not the idea place? But its an option they have the following:
A boxed the Tamnavulin stillmans dram june 1970 bottle no 712 boxed single malt whisky
And
glen grant highland malt limited bottling to mark the occasion of the wedding of h.r.h prince of wales bottle number 596 royal wedding reserve.
If i could get some feedback on this if they wanted to part with this where best to sell and also where i can find a value and there worth as said i have an approx idea but needed to ask on here as looks like this site is all about whisky |

i would recommend contacting Bonhams auction in Edinburgh or McTears auctioneers in Glasgow, they both specialise in whisky and hold a few whisky auctions a year.
They are usually quite helpful, they both have a website which you can contact them through. No need to visit them.
Here is the link to Bonhams:
http://www.bonhams.com/cgi-bin/public.sh/pubweb/publicSite.r?sContinent=EUR&screen=Whisky
Bonhams offers free and confidential valuations with a view to selling.
Contact Martin Green whisky[at]bonhams.com
You could also try contacting The Whisky Exchange shop who buy as well as sell whisky. There is also ebay which you mentioned which can sometimes fetch the best price.
Whoever you contact you should send them detailed info and images and they should be able to advise you on a value for your whisky. |
