Ardbeg whisky is offering their fans the chance to stay at the birthplace of of their favourite Islay malt whisky. They have restored Seaview Cottage which is a 19th Century cottage at its iconic distillery on Islay.
Seaview Cottage offers stunning views, a location steeped in history, and every modern day luxury you would expect allowing visitors to unwind with their favourite dram at the very place of its origin.
Nestling at the heart of the Distillery, the cottage was the former home of the Distillery manager and sleeps up to 6 adults in 3 en-suite bedrooms.
Ardbeg's Seaview Cottage rental prices are £220.00 per night (minimum 2 night stay) and £1500.00 per week which is not too bad a price for this standard of accommodation especially if there was 3 of you sharing. Just thought i would mention it here for anyone planning a trip to Islay.

| Id love to go stay here, but sadly the wife and child probably not so much so. I agree the price is excellent if there were 3 couples sharing, but a bit costly were it just one couple. |

A bit like the Bowmore Cottages, I have a friend who stayed in the Bowmore Cottages and there was a complimentary bottle of Bowmore 12, he was disappointed it wasnt a more special bottle of Bowmore.
You would think a miniature selection of their range of whiskies as well as a full size bottle of their entry level whisky would be good idea. |

yes I'd agreea full bottle of the standard stuff anda few minis of the better end of the range would be better. Though less profit |

Between 3 couples it isnt a bad rate, you would pay more in a B&B which wouldnt be to this standard and they throw in a bottle of Ardbeg 10 which would be £40 |
