So if Grants are involved, maybe the Speyside will be one of theirs? Kininvie, perhaps, since that's less likely to be recognised than Glenfiddich or Balvenie?

Not sure when it changed. The wording always used to be "3 years and 1 day". If a year is advertised on the label in terms of age then it must be full calendar years, so it it says "12 ... |
