I read on another forum that Chivas Brothers have released the first ever whisky from Dalmunach distillery.
It is a 4 year old bottled at cask strength and costs £45.

Pretty much the same with neighbour Pittyvaich. The Flora and Fauna version is probably most often traded at auction and prices havn't really changed much for a year or two.

It is/was not uncommon for distilleries to do a run of peated spirit for a week or two, typically the first couple of weeks of the year after the xmas/ new year shutdown.

Distilleries who do hand bottled expressions will have done loads on the 30th August.
Look out for them appearing at Auction.
Glendronach, Aberlour etc.

I was concerned by the prices at Inverness Airport. Not sure I saw much that couldn't be found cheaper elsewhere. Maybe it's a mix of high rent, low volumes or profiting from tourists?
